RIVA 88 FLORIDA
The new Riva 88 Florida is the spiritual successor of the Riva Bahamas. The anticipated launch of hull number 1 from the iconic Italian brand is scheduled for completion towards the end of 2014 with the worldwide premiere set during the first few months of 2015.
The Riva 88 Florida features a cutting-edge innovation with an exclusive Ferretti Group patent installed for the very first time on this new model. The innovative 'Convertible top' converts this model from an 'open' to a coupe at the touch of a button and offers three different functions into one single system.
The hull of the first Riva 88 Miami will be showcased in 'Regal Silver', a light shade of grey which was used for the first time this year on the NEW Riva Flagship, the Riva 122 Mythos. The style of the interior decoration can be defined as vintage cool. A warm and sophisticated elm wood has been chosen with the new peach skin finishing to convey a soft and cosy feeling.
This new project from Riva features excellent performance, with a choice of engines by MTU. The standard version of the Riva 88 Florida will be fitted with 2 x MTU 16v 2000 M93, 2435MHP which will allow a maximum speed of up to 38.5 knots and a cruising speed up to 34 knots, with a range of 315 and 340 nautical miles respectively. As an alternative option, as in the case of hull number 1, the Riva 88 Miami can be fitted with 2 x MTU 16V 2000, M94, 2638 mhp reaching a maximum
speed of up to 40.5 knots and a cruising speed of up to 36 knots, with a range of 300 and 325 nautical miles respectively.
